Solar power optimized for the farm

Our ground-based solar installations produce more energy, increase profitability, and accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy system.

Complete solar power for the farm

A turnkey solution with VajaTrack solar tracking system, solar panels, inverters, and batteries – producing more electricity than roof-mounted panels or fixed ground mounts. With our solution, it is easy to build truly profitable solar power.

approx. 30%

more electricity production than fixed, ground-based solar panels

40-80%

more electricity production than roof-mounted panels

Maximize profitability

Vaja’s solution suits farms and other landowners who want to get the maximum possible output and profitability from producing their own electricity, increase self-sufficiency, and simultaneously drastically reduce exposure to high electricity prices.

The additional electricity production occurs primarily in mornings and evenings, when the value of electricity is often highest.

A profitable solution for the farm’s energy needs

Much higher total electricity production
Our patented solar tracking technology rotates the panels toward the sun all day, which provides significantly more electricity than fixed panels on roofs or ground.

More electricity when you need it
VajaTrack produces a much larger share during morning and evening when both electricity prices and electricity consumption are typically higher.

Not limited by roof area
On the ground, you are free from roof areas, roof angles, and load-bearing capacity. The system is dimensioned according to your need – not according to the roof.

Batteries increase profitability
Battery storage matches the farm’s consumption profile and further increases profitability.

Profitable solar energy installed

Behind every project is a unique operation and a common goal – to produce more valuable solar electricity. Here you can explore examples of how Vaja’s technology creates increased profitability for farms, businesses, and solar park developers.

Solar tracking systems rotate solar panels to follow the sun throughout the day, significantly increasing electricity production, especially during the more valuable morning and evening hours. Solar trackers are already standard for ground-mounted solar energy built closer to the equator, but the technology used there is not effective further from the equator where the sun moves across the sky in a lower arc. VajaTrack is the world’s first truly cost-effective vertical solar tracking system.

Vaja’s smart vertical solar tracking system rotates the solar panels so they follow the sun all day. In central and northern European latitudes, the system produces up to 80% more electricity than roof-mounted panels and approximately 25-30% more than fixed ground-mounted panels facing south. And the revenue is often even higher because the production increase is greatest during the more valuable morning and evening hours.

Compared to fixed-mounted solar panels on the ground or roof, revenues with a Vaja solar tracking system are often 40-100% higher.

Batteries are today an obvious part of a good solar power solution. The batteries store electricity from when the solar panels produce the most in the middle of sunny days and feed the electricity back during other times of the day and on cloudy days. In addition, grid services can contribute additional revenue.

Vaja is a Swedish product company that has developed a new patented solar tracking technology. Our product targets a global market, but initially, we primarily offer the solution in Sweden. We deliver complete solutions to our customers, but we differentiate ourselves from other solar energy companies with our unique, proprietary technology, which is key to more profitable solar power.

It depends on your specific conditions based on your electricity consumption, power demand, and investment budget. Our advisors help you analyze your specific conditions.

A smart solar tracking system on the ground is almost always more profitable than fixed-mounted solar panels on rooftops. In addition, you are not limited by the roof’s load-bearing capacity, size, or angle, or need to worry about what happens during future roof maintenance. But of course, it requires that you have some land available. Our advisors can help with an analysis and comparison for your specific conditions.

Yes, with a smart solar tracking system, battery storage, and own electricity consumption, solar power is usually a robust and profitable investment today.

The solar tracking system significantly increases electricity production, the battery storage increases self-consumption by storing solar energy in the middle of the day and discharging during other times of the day, and grid services can contribute additional revenue. There may also be additional savings with reduced power fees or smaller main fuses.

Yes, it may be applicable, but it depends on your conditions. If you purchase a system as a private individual in Sweden, you can often have the opportunity for green technology deductions and ROT deductions. For businesses and farmers, there are sometimes other support opportunities. Our advisors are happy to guide you regarding such opportunities.

We offer a comprehensive service agreement where we take complete responsibility for operation and monitoring of your installation to ensure it always performs optimally. The only thing you need to do is mow the grass once a year (unless you have sheep that take care of that for you 😊)
